João Paulo Meirelles, Brazilian documentary photographer currently based on Minas Gerais.

João is part of the series " Curating New Angles", where Roberta Tavares is conducting an experience based on previous exercises and narratives main points and pointers of those sustaining a visual identity by elements and moods playing with imagination and interpretation but they are back to the questions and provocations that make these authors and storytellers unique in their purpose.

The story " She Never Called" plays with the notion of longing, dreaming, the unquiet passionate mind, the lust antecipating love, the infatuation from that face and lips that ignite desire and paralizes the real life calling for action, because fiction is better than reality and in fiction everything is played, the stamp of the bearable and where rejection is a lonely vague option in the realms of possibilities of the perfect scenarios and faire-tales of the guy meets the girl  (Roberta Tacares)
